Admission to the Museum is FREE, but please read the following information for important details.

Notice for Visitors
Access to Edwards AFB is restricted to those individuals with official
business on base. This means that the museum is accessible only to base
personnel and individuals who have appropriate credentials to enter the
installation. Access to Edwards AFB is now restricted to those individuals with official
business on base.
Museum
Hours and Base Tours
The
museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 4:30 for people who
already have base access. The museum’s phone number is 661-277-8050. For those who do not have base access
there is a General Public Tour offered twice a month. The tours are free, but
reservations are required. For more information on the General Public Tours you
can visit www.edwards.af.mil. Go to ‘Questions’ at the top of the page then ‘Tours, Events
and Visiting’ to see open tour dates.
You may also call any

Friday from 8 to 5.
Visitors
from countries other than the United States who are traveling with a
passport or a visa must make reservations with Public Affairs at least
30-calendar days in advance of the requested tour date.
Museum
Displays Off-Base that are Open to Visitors
We
have three locations off-base that are open to visitors year round. West Gate The
first is just outside the West Gate entrance to Edwards AFB and is accessible any
day of the week. Referred to as Century Circle, it features six Air Force
aircraft that make up the ‘Century Series’ fighters; the F-100, F-101, F-102,
F-104, F-105 and F-106. There is also a YC-15 transport aircraft on exhibit. No
special pass or permission is required to visit this display area and parking and
restrooms are provided for your convenience. To visit the Century Circle display,
take exit 55 (Edwards AFB) off Highway 14 and head east for 10.5 miles.
North Gate Located just outside of our North Gate, exit 186
(Edwards AFB) on Highway 58, is NB-52B, tail number 52-0008. This B-52 aircraft
was flown by NASA for many years to test other aircraft like the X-15, HL-10,
and the hypersonic X-43. Parking is provided. For more information on this very

Blackbird Airpark
The third location is Blackbird Airpark, located in
the city of Palmdale along Avenue P (also known as Rancho Vista Boulevard) at
25th Street East (http://www.palmdalecam.com/blckbird.htm). This
exhibit houses an A-12, SR-71A, U-2D, D-21 drone and YF-117A. This display area
is open Friday through Sunday, from 11 am to 4 pm and admission is free. The
phone number to the Airpark is 661-274-0884 or 661-277-8050 (AFFT Museum). Immediately
next to the Blackbird Airpark is the Joe Davies Heritage Airpark (http://www.cityofpalmdale.org/airpark/),
also free and open the same hours.
